Using CSV imports

NOTE: Before importing CSVs, it's always best take a back up of your Item Details & Stock export from the Imports/Exports page (just in case). Once you've got a back up, you can use the steps below:

You can assign or change picking location names on items without updating their on-hand counts or alert levels by using the Item Details CSV import.

  1. Create a new CSV file which contains just the following 3 columns:

    1. SKU - Make sure the SKUs match exactly to the items in SKULabs (including case)

    2. Warehouse - Make sure it matches the warehouse name found in SKULabs exactly

    3. Location - The picking or bin location you want to add to the SKU.

  2. Upload the CSV using the Item details import:

Changing or assigning picking locations while also updating on-hand and/or alert levels for your items can also be done in bulk through an Items Stock CSV import.
