SKULabs allows you to set future shipping dates for shipments that will be picked up by your carrier or dispatched on a future date. This is helpful if you continue shipping on weekends, holidays, or after a shipment cutoff (pickup) time on regular shipping workdays.

Shipment Cutoff Time

For shipments created after a shipping cutoff or carrier pickup time:

  • Use the "time of day" as the criteria and choose your cutoff time
  • Use "set shipping date" as the action
  • Use "add_days 1" as the parameter value

Weekend Shipping

For weekend shipping, set up two separate shipping rules, each using "Day of the week" as the criteria.

Friday

Shipments created on Friday after a shipping cutoff time (carrier pickup time) which will be picked up on Monday:

  • Use "time of day" and "day of the week" equals Friday as the criteria
  • Use "set shipping date" as the action
  • Use "add_days 3" as the parameter value

Saturday

Saturday shipments that will be shipped on Monday:

  • Use "day of the week" equals Saturday as the criteria
  • Use "set shipping date" as the action
  • Use "add_days 2" as the parameter value

Sunday

Sunday shipments that will be shipped on Monday:

  • Use "day of the week" equals Saturday as the criteria
  • Use "set shipping date" as the action
  • Use "add_days 1" as the parameter value

Holiday Shipping

For holiday shipments, create a shipping rule that you can activate and deactivate on holidays. Adjust the criteria as needed and set action parameters to the next business day.
