USPS new policy on invalid shipping labels

At risk of losing packages when intentionally or accidentally using a voided label or a label over 30 days old.

Updated over a year ago

USPS has announced stricter new policies in their effort to fight against the use of fraudulent or counterfeit labels.
โ€‹
You must ensure all labels are used within 30 days of purchase and never intentionally or accidentally use a label that has been refunded!

The following labels are now invalid and should be discarded:

  • USPS labels for which you have received a refund

  • Labels that you have not used within 30 days of purchase

What happens if I use an invalid label?

The packages will be confiscated and discarded by USPS, no claims against these packages will be accepted.
