What is EasyPost and why does SKULabs recommend it?

EasyPost is a partner specialized in providing consistent and reliable access to a variety of shipping carriers globally, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and more. As a major priority for many carriers, they maintain relationships, manage compliance, and offer faster, more accurate support for carrier specific issues.

Most importantly, EasyPost allows you to connect your own carrier accounts and utilize the your negotiated rates (including USPS NSA), all while your carrier billing remains 100% the same.

All of this contributes to allow SKULabs to focus on providing your operations a smoother and more efficient experience.

How do I connect a carrier through EasyPost?

It's as simple as adding your carrier account to EasyPost, then connecting it within SKULabs

Step 1.

Create an EasyPost account via SKULabs' affiliate link and use an email address with your private domain. This prevents triggering an Anti-Fraud flag for general free domains (i.e., Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail etc.).

Step 2 (Optional)

EasyPost already provides a default USPS connection, but if you wish to connect a carrier other than the USPS, you can add another carrier.

If you have multiple account numbers for your carrier, just add a separate carrier account.

Step 3

Click on your account name at the top left, then click "API Keys" and copy your production API key.

Step 4

Connect your carrier within SKULabs:

  1. Go to Settings > Shipping > Carrier Accounts and click "Add carrier".

  2. Choose your carrier type and paste the API Key into the "EasyPost API Key" field.

  3. Choose your carrier from the "Carrier Account" field.

  4. Click "Save" to complete the process!
