Once a purchase order is created, you can click or scan it's barcode on the Purchasing page to open and begin receiving products.
In the items section, click the accept button beside an item to enter the quantity you're receiving along with other relevant details.
Types of Scan Receiving
You can also use scanning to receive items in various ways.
Click the Scan to receive button
Scan the barcode of a product on your purchase order
Enter the quantity you're receiving along with other relevant details in the window and click accept
For more detailed receiving, you can scan each unit of inventory and accept those quantities once you're finished.
Click Enable scan to accept mode at the top right of the items section
Click the Scan to receive button
Optionally enter picking locations
Scan the barcode of a product on your purchase order for each unit
Click accept once finished
Editing POs
If needed, you can edit a PO's details and items or rate by clicking Menu at the top right > Edit. This is helpful if you need to adjust the rates of items your suppliers provide or more before you begin receiving.
PO Statuses
Status is created when created
Status changes to sent when you send PO to the supplier
Status changes to acknowledged when the supplier confirms that email (they get a button on the email)
Status changes to transit when the supplier provides tracking on that email (they get a button on the email)
Status changes to received when you receive an item on the PO
Status changes to closed when you finish receiving the PO
Accepting and Edited statuses are additional manual statuses you can optionally use internally
