Gift support in SKULabs
Updated over a year ago

SKULabs automatically imports information about if your orders are gifts. You may see a tag "Gift" or "Gift Wrap" depending on the options selected on one of your orders.

Amazon for instance allows your customers to indicate if an order is a gift:

Gift Options allows customers to indicate an order is a gift. By default, when customers indicate that an order is a gift, the product prices will not appear on the packing slip. However, customers can elect to include prices. The buyer's choices will show on the packing slip available in the Manage Orders page. If you create your own packing slips, you will need to manage the messaging and product price display.

Using the built-in gift wrapping feature, you can provide your customers the option of having their purchases gift wrapped.

For gifts, you may want/need to hide product price information when printing packing slips and this will soon happen automatically when tags like "Gift" appear on an order.

If you aren't seeing a Gift tag, first check to see if you can add one yourself by checking the order notes for a word like Gift. Second, provide our support team an example order number and we'll see if your channel has details about the gift status of the order available in a way we can automatically detect going forward.
